Its damage forms are mainly severe wear, breakage, and pulling apart, and the main reasons for its occurrence are:
1. Long-term exposure to pulsating loads and fatigue damage;
2. The connecting pin or bolt is loose and falls off, and it is not found and supplemented in time, resulting in uneven force or pulling of the connecting link;
3. For the vertical ring, unilateral wear is more serious. If it is not replaced in time, it is easy to break;
4. After the chain is stuck, a large dynamic load and impact load will be generated, resulting in a huge instantaneous fluctuation in the speed of the conveying chain, making the conveying chain run unsteadily, thereby accelerating the wear or breakage of the connecting link;
5. The manufacturing quality is poor, the wear resistance is poor or the toughness is poor, the hardness is low, or the stress concentration produces fatigue cracks, resulting in insufficient strength.
The damage of the connecting ring of the chain conveyor is roughly caused by the above five reasons, which requires enterprises to regularly perform equipment maintenance when using the chain conveyor and deal with problems immediately when they are found.
